it's a good couple of days here

I know that things here are far from perfect, but I can't help but feel a sense of joy and pride as our first African-American president is inaugurated the day after we celebrate the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. In my 30 years, I can't remember any other time we've felt so much excitement for a new president to take office. People are flocking to DC for all the festivities, and even here on campus, folks will be watching the inauguration in the student center. This feels good.
